In 2010 the U.S. Congress approved the Affordable Care Act known as the ACA.

 

With our Kaʻū community, Kalanihale has received support to perform critical outreach in our Miloliʻi community to educate, advocate, and enroll our community members in need through Medicaid and the federal marketplace. 

 

Certified navigators can help you apply for medical insurance through the State as well as the Federal government marketplace. 

 

Open Enrollment period is between November 1st and December 15

 

Special circumstance may allow enrollment outside of the Open Enrollment period.  These circumstances may be due to change in employment status, employer, and or residence.
