Fishing tournaments hosted in Miloliʻi are done by (or with the endorsement of) ʻohana of Miloliʻi.  These tournaments allows Miloliʻi CBSFA Hui to engage with fishers, share traditional practices and proposed rules, emphasizing lawaiʻa pono practices and the supportive work for the CBSFA.
